Do you even know what the Nicene Creed even is? |
<--- is totally done ARGUING about CHRIST and his affect on Christianity. Believe what you will. I really couldn't care less what level of education you believe I have on the subject. |

How can enybody believe that MAN was monkey..
IF so. Then why didn't the rest of the monkey family evolve to a higher form of inteligence?
Man is unique out of all the animals on this planet.
Can you see evelution happen in a LAB? |

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.
1) The reason that not all apes evolved to man is the same reason that we still have tapeworms and ameobas.
2) There is only a 2% genetic difference between most great apes and man. The only real difference between the great apes and man is the extent of our social skills and verbal language.
3) Can you see God creating mankind in a LAB?
Now someone kill this thread. |

have any of you ever noticed that the people that pray NEVER get sick? and NEVER have any health problems....... although they do die, almost since the day they were born, they have only been sick during the time they were to die... its a known fact, for all those non-religious people that think religion is stupid....... theres MANY MORE reasons for religion than you think, its not always just to believe in god...
for some that say... "god makes me suffer" or "i'm sick and god's not helping me" you should keep in mind, that god (if real) doesn't have to help anyone, why don't some of you guys just practice on being good boys or girls, you don't have to believe in god, just believe in Karma |

No, I haven't noticed that. Have you ever noticed that people who can't write in coherent sentences tend to make silly and unsubstantiated claims as well? |

Cool quote dude.
"Having examined the quality of most humans, one could hardly have much respect for their creator."
We really don't know the whole story. Unfortunatly why man does not reflect his God was never recorded or filmed. |

any attempts at explaining this are welcome:
if god is all knowing...that is, he knows what we do before we do it, before we are even born, then how is it that when he creates us we have free will? seems to me very contradictory. if he knows someone is going to hell before they even are conceived, why even bother have that person be born? sorry,i tend to ramble on this topic. |

I have a long responce to that, I will try and keep it short.
First I would like to say I am not religous in any way.
I believe that man kind is mistaken about what is God.
IMO, the God that our soul returns to is not the same as the god who talked to Moses or Abraham, if you are a Christian or Jewish.
I believe that the God that gives life will not subject himself to the laws of this universe we live in.
You are the one that records the events in your life and you will be the one to pass judgement on yourself when you go back, and the same with everybody else.
The fact thay say that God is all seeing and all knowing (omnipresent) is just another humans opinion.
"Free will"
IMO
He gave it to us because we need to mature as spirits. I don't think he wants us to be children forever.
IMO
Everything you do here on Earth is a lesson. |
