The bear would definately win. The claws would open up that gorilla's gut before he knew what hit him. His face would also be bitten off before he could raise his pretty hands to defend.
I vote for the BEAR
Who's counting? Whats the tally? |

You say silverback, this is not your average gorilla i have to add THEY ARE KILLERS! bad attitude very agressive
A gorilla family usually includes one silverback, the strongest male and the undisputed leader, one immature male between 8 and 13 years old

These gorillas own a bear will growl and swipe its claws and miss and the silverback will jump in it's back and tear up it's neck even though the gorillas eat vegis doesnt mean that it wont tear another animal apart you know bears are strong and all but you know Chimpanzees have the strength of 10 men and could rip you arm off what do you think a full grown immature silverback that is leader and gets what it want's all the time would do to something when it is threatened |

Silverback gorilla = VERY territorial animal. If the bear came onto the gorillas territory, it'd be ed.
btw a grizzly's snout is it's weak point. One smash on its nose courtesy of the gorilla, and he's be like "WTF?!?!" and dizzy for a good few seconds at least. Enough for the gorilla to jump his ass further.
I think in the end it would depend on the terrain. If they were fighting in an arena, well , it'd all depend on who is quicker. Don't think gorillas are slow man, they ing run at you and make you your pants, they look like ing beasts, cuz they are. ttt, bear would be scary too. Still think it would depend a lot on who got the first real strike in (gorilla, one good punch in the side of the face or side - bear, a good slash across the face or chest or neck) |

| Someone at work told me people out west(Washington I think) found a bear standing and it was the height of the top of a 18 wheeler trailer. Besides have you guys seen Kuma from Tekken??? I think you know who would win. Next week we should have a new match up. |

The animals bears hunt are not particularly smart and while a bear can run quite fast its shear size makes it clumsy. Generally its behaviour is predictable - In Russia, where people hunted bears they did it with a knife and a big stick that branches into two ends at one end. They'd get up close to the bear and poke it with the stick, as the bears arms aren't long enough to claw the hunter, it would stand up on its hind legs and try to fall on him. at which point the hunter would wedge the bears jaw under the stick so for a few seconds the bears entire weight is being held up by the stick... be fore the bear figured out what was going on the hunter would jump under it and slice its belly open.
So in conclusion... bears weight makes it clumsier. Bear isn't too smart so has predictable attacks... gorilla is more swift, unpredictable and intelligent ... therefore gorilla owns. |
