The only reason I bring this up is...I was cleaning out my room and I stumbled upon a CD I have been looking for, for months now! The album is "United States Of Trance" mixed by Christopher Lawrence.

Personally (to answer my own question) I think that Christopher Lawrence should be in the top 10 of DJ's. He stays true to his style of trance and he always spins GREAT songs. His mixing skills are VERY professional and he just knows how to get a crowd going. I saw him for the first (and only time) at the massive Ultra 5 in Miami this year and he blew me away more than anyone else there (which includes Tiesto, Oakey, Sasha, Diggers)...the next day I went out and bought "United States Of Trance" and "Exposure IV"...I dunno I just don't hear much about him and I think he is an amazing DJ, right up there with Digweed and Nick Warren (in my book).

YES YES YES YES! Someone who gets it!

Lawrence is so underrated it's not even funny. He has wonderful crowd interaction, mixes flawlessly, and preserves a unique style of progressive trance that no one else comes close to. His older albums for Hook are just as good. He's been around for years yet still hasn't broken to the top (though that's arguably a good thing). I saw him at Ultra 5 too, and felt only Paul van Dyk surpassed him.

this is a joke

Lawrence OWNZ man. i have seen him at 3-4 raves this year alone and everytime he rips me a new one. he was one of the DJ's i voted for for DJ Mags top 100 and im glad he moved up alot but still dissapointed that he wasnt atleast in the top 10. im glad im not alone on this one.

Dave the Drummer

I mean the guy is a great dj but also easy to deal with, so for promoters, he is great. Dave is always working on making new tracks to play out and finding those gems to play out because he realizes that you need to give the crowd what they want, unlike some A list deejays.
