i think it has to do alot with celebrated peopel such asa PP, MJ:zik etc etc...
also more famous people such as Mecha, Armada etc etc who said they wouldnt post but still post..i mean cmon...dont u feel the love?? |

I think he's too lenient sometimes, but considering the amount of I'm personally involved with, that's probably a good thing. :p

a few bad apples aren't gonna spoil the party.. there's always gonna be flaming and arguments here at any given time, but TOTA in the real is alive and kickin. besides most of the trouble makers don't even get involved in most of what we do anyways so why should it matter. it's one thing to be bitter and nasty on a messageboard, but once u carry that persona into the real world, then u've got issues.

maybe were reading something different. over the summer there was a 10 page flame thread closed every day. its still carrying over. this place sucks now man it really does |

if u consider the number of people who were involved in those flame threads and compare them to the total number of users on this subforum, u'll notice that they comprise of a very small minority. besides, the TOTA social events and meetups are a very different reflection of the at times foul behaviour on this messageboard. infact sometimes it couldn't be more different ..

well whether it was a few or alot of people, this place (ie. board) has gone sour, and when the mods where asked to do something about it in the summer nothing was done.
look on the bright side though, at least you've had lots of viva nights promoted...

i certainly think that some of the flame threads could have been closed earlier. but knowing Itikia and Swamper for a while i know that they aren't the type of mods to be playing babysitter. eventually if people want flames, trolls and such to stop then they're gonna have to exercise some self restraint by not partaking in actions that only propagate it.
whether or not there's flaming, it's not going to deter me from coming to TA and TOTA. in the end i can control my own experience here by not getting involved with the kind of garbage that you feel has made this place gone down the tube..

maybe i agree and i have really removed myself from it. it seems alot of good people have too. i guess thats what happens. not really easy to just ignore all the polution on here though |

I personally haven't been here too long, but I see this as a thriving, alive community. I don't think there's any real problems to be worried about... it's like life, man, everyone gets their say. Agree, disagree, everyone has the right to say what they think. And Desidel is right, if you don't like the flames, you don't have to support the thread! I think the mods are doing a great job by simply letting people speak what's on their minds. I have yet to see a thread REALLY get out of hand.
