I don't see how that thread could have been bumped when Hartec had only started the thread and said he would not post in it anymore. Weird. Hence my comment about the conflit of interest.

This 'Hartec' contraversy is getting a little tiresome to read.
Hartec's thread that I closed was closed because he had bumped it several times and had crossed the little red line. Regardless, he had more than enough feedback already to make his business decisions on the show.
You do forget that he did end up doing the show and the event thread was NOT closed but in fact stickied for the 2 weeks we give promoters for having the TA logo on the flyer. Was that not the important thread anyhow?
If I was not involved with TR and I had made the same moderating decisions, conflict of interest accusations would have never been made. As I have said before and will say one last time, I act in the best interest of the site in a manner that facilitates growth of the Toronto section and health of the scene in Toronto. Every promoter is allowed to post their event in here, all you need to be is a member. Therefore saying that I my actions on this forum is retardent to the scene is ridiculous, as I am one of the biggest supporters of it.

Your performance has nothing to do with the fact that new users are coming to ToTA. New users coming here are dependant on the fact that they are people who like trance.
Considering that you're a promoter yourself, for Temp Rhythms, it looks extremely bad on your part if you close threads for parties being held by other companies... regardless if they break a silly rule like not bumping their own threads. |

That's something that you did out of your own charity and if you feel that it has not been put to good use then it's an unfortunate cirumstance. Tho Swamper isn't asking for donations so we can't expect anything back as a result.

Very true, and I never expected anything in return for what I did!
I really liked the site back in the day, and wanted to extend my appreciation by making that donation, as I know server space is, or rather can be, very expensive. I still regret doing that seeing as what this site has turned into and the tactics that have been resorted to by our moderator "itikia".
And I am still waiting for that reply, and it has been well over 10 days now. How very professional.

My concern is the website and not whether or not 'i look good'.
If I was soo intolerable, wouldn't my 'power hungry', 'power abusing' attitude make people and promoters go over to tribe instead? Also, we seem to be focused on the odd 1 or 2 promoters who don't like the fact that there are rules on here nor the fact that they are actually enforced. The other 90% of them accept the rules and work in harmony with the site, but then again talking about that wouldn't be interesting enough, would it?
