Well it's 4:20am and I just got back from the showing. I'm must say this could very well be the greatest movie of the year. It completely put The Matrix Revolutions to shame.Lots of action, lot's of blood and even some laughs. The movie is a great way to end an amazing Trilogy. I recommend that everyone that has enjoyed previous LOTR movies to check it out/even those who haven't (come on you have to know how it ends)

My Rating

9/10
PhloTron
It ends by the guy that is in both the Matrix and LOTR saying...

"Welcome to this world....this...this middle earth Mr. Anderson, here's a sword and a personal elf for your pleasure"

Ahhh yes, that would be Agent Elrond

"Ahhhh Mr Anderson, You are the ONE and must be cast deep into the depths of Mount Doom, into the Source from where the Anomaly was first detected"

Just got back from this. Great film. I wish Frodo wasn't so whiny, but other than that, great film.

omfg! i just got home after some much needed beers after the movie. that movie is absoulty insane. the movie did not let down, never during one point of the movie was i even bored for a second. i couldnt pay attention to anything else but the movie the entire time. just the way it was produced, how much detail they put into every single aspect of that movie is mind blowing. i wouldnt be suprised at all to see lotr rotk win quite a bit of oscars this year

but damn does my ass hurt :p

now i cant wait for the extended edition of this amazing movie :toothless

3.52, I just got back from seeing the midnight opening show, because I'm a nerd like that. Really good movie, best of the three. Great action, and all that. See it.

, son. I have to be up for school in 3 hours. Going to be a fun day, thats for sure :D

Am seeing it later on tonight I can't wait. But I have 2 special editions to sit though first!! :eyespop:

edit: Have seen it now - It's good but is badly missing the scences that will go into the special edition. I liked nearly everything except shelob. The charge of rohan was worth the price of admission alone. I Think It'll take a second viewing to really sink in.

man.. sooo want to see this

how long did you have to have to line up to get decent seats??

i imagine all the diehard fans will line up 12 hours in advance to get the good seats

I got to the theatre 80 minutes early for the back to back to back FOTR:EE, TTT:EE, ROTK showing, and there were already 180 people in the theatre.

It was good but not as good as two towers, the ending dragged on far to long and the battle wasn't nearly as epic or emotional as Helms deep (hope that doesn't give too much away)
