I like pink and all, but really prefer black, all the way... no not goth. And some of us aren't really "girly". We just blend in so well with all the guys, that it's hard to tell us apart, making it almost seem we are invisible. ur raging hormones, they're great, gotta love them. pop, rnb?? no way! not to seem a sexist, but...
[rant]
i dont get why there are so few women into EDM. look around
in a club or event. there are always a lot more men, and the
women that are there, well, very few of them really get anything
about the music. i still dont understand this, why arent there
as many women as there are men?! makes it very hard for us
that are deeply addicted to the music to find a female to share
our biggest interest with. its not as fun when we have to
explain half of what is happening. personally, with maybe an
exception of one or two, i have still yet to come in contact
with a single female that KNOWS why she's at an event, and is
not there just because its trendy or cool. you could put DJ
Sammy up there and say its Danny Tenaglia and theyll believe
it. not to mention, they swear they are the "coolest" because
theyre "ravers" and they know more about the scene and the
music than anyone else.

so, (good looking) female electronica addicts that are not
whores are needed! :p |

yes, id agree to saying that for the most part. again, its
not necessarily BECAUSE theyre girls, but its sort of true.
i have friends that are intelligent and yet still choose to
listen to britney spears or some other abomination of sound,
and find it extremely boring when i play electronica at any
social function. |

I think its cool actually how people on these forums don't focus on gender (for the most part). We just post about music and whatnot. Its cool to read other people's opinions on things without knowing whether they are male or female.
And yes I agree with what has been said before, there are females on the board who post, but they just go unnoticed. :) |
