yeah where are all those TA girls...
i know there are quite a few registered but they disappear after posting and introducing themselves.
maybe girls have many other aspects in life that need their attention 24-7, like reading cosmo, makeup, hair, accesorizing, shopping, etc etc i dont know, just a thought. |

Ladies and foums; I'm honestly not sure whether a lot of girls know they exist (and i dont mean just about trance forums) I certainly didnt know there were such specific ones until i was introduced by a TA member. I think that boys have always steered towards computers more than girls so that leaves an unbalance. And now especially with social climates for women having being vulnerable to some extents towards men; Forums are another area where females are dominated, and or abused due to the anonimity of it all. which can't be appealing to those looking with an outside view. Therefore ladies aren't as likely to become permanetly posting members. There are of course the exceptions, where the lady is just there for the love of the forums subject matter, and the random banter of ideas and thoughts that surround it. Hell, i'm never looking back.

If you want more girls on the board, the easiest way is to tell them about it, but pick wisely. |

| I didn’t mean “computer geeks” in a bad way. Computer geeks are smart:) I just mean that probably a lot of women would look at this site and not understand the concept of it. I know I didn’t when I first looked at it. I had no idea what a “forum” was or what “post thread” meant. Most of the women I know can surf the web and check email or chat, but really don’t know much else about computers/internet. I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. Afterall I have like maybe 2 girlfriends and that's it. I'm picky about them. My mom is a good example (probably too old to use as one but oh well). I almost bought her a dvd player for xmas but realized that she is just now figuring out the vcr. |
