TA Girls (pg. 4)
View this Thread in Original format

Whenever I go to a party, I see hella girls. The thing that turns me off though from talking to a lot of them is they're mostly E-tards. I don't know where you guys live, but in San Francisco you can always find someone to talk to.:)

There are girls here, just not many, mainly due to the fact that the overwhelming level of raging hormones here on TA tends to scare most girls off. (do a search for OMGhi2u or similar statements and you'll see what I mean)

Lol.. indeed, very well put :D

no no no. here we go again. i never said you ALL do, im just
saying most do. again, not trying to make this a issue about
gender, im just saying that most females find pop/rap/any other
form of self abuse to hearing, more interesting than electronica.

dont take this personally, im sure you are just as well versed
in electronica as any of us is, but could you really tell me,
honestly, that most girls are like you? yes, you are an exception,
exceptions like yourself are the things i really value because
it feels a lot better to be able to interact with someone of the
opposite sex on a subject with that certain feeling electronica
gives you, be it an enchanting trance or abusively energetic
beats, that feeling you get inside you whilst you go insane over
a track.

im not saying all men are electronica gurus, far from it really,
as there are also many clueless males at events. but it also
reflects on the ratio of male to female DJs. the few bigname
female DJs there are are quite good, but they are on the same
level with hundreds of other male DJs. and please dont say "there
are quite a few good female DJs." yes there are, but it doesnt
even begin to compare to the number of male DJs.

finally, id like to emphasize that I AM NOT expressing superiority
of either genders, merely comenting on the few females that
actually understand the music.

I also think it's an exception that a girl listens to trance... here in the town where I live, I think I'm the only girl that really listens to trance :conf: my friends all listen to rnb :) ok there are some girls that say: "I love trance bla bla" but if I ask if they love f.e. avb they say: hmm no! what they really mean with 'trance' is the dance music (milk inc, sylver, lasgo,...) you can watch here on the tv (jim tv, tmf, ...) :whip:

on the ta-forums there are a lot of girls registered but the way some boys react here :conf: not every girl can laugh with it... and I think after some time they don't post any more imo :) :nervous:

i have still yet to come in contact
with a single female that KNOWS why she's at an event, and is
not there just because its trendy or cool. you could put DJ
Sammy up there and say its Danny Tenaglia and theyll believe
it. not to mention, they swear they are the "coolest" because
theyre "ravers" and they know more about the scene and the
music than anyone else.
:p

going to have to agree with you on this part. lost count on how many this times this has happened to me. it never fails each time i am at an event. "it that him." out of the blue some girl will ask me, (sometimes guys as well)
just ranting, but does anybody else keep getting asked if they sell drugs. that never fails as well. a couple of times at every event.

:p

FFS Streak, do you really think I'm like that?! :whip: :whip: :whip:

Though... pillow fights *are* fun sometimes! :p

It never fails, either myself, or somebody that I'm with will either be asked if we sell drugs, or if we are on drugs, or if we know where to get some. SO IN ANNOYING!!!!!!!! :whip:
