I live in an area where electronic music is very much a part of the scene and is even played on the radio. I go clubbing in South Beach at lease once a month and I always see beautiful chicks dancing to the music (house/progressive) and having a great time. Are most of them coked up or on “e”? Probably... Do they know every single detail about the life and label of the DJ spinning? Probably not... Does that make them stupid or groupie whores? No. Some of them ARE groupie whores though but who cares? They still love the music. I am a die hard fan of progressive, house, and nu school breaks, but I don’t think I can name one house DJ except Cassius. I am more knowledgeable about the bigger “trance” DJs like Armin and Tiesto. I wish I was more informed about other DJs and labels, but I just don’t have the time to study their lives and music. I would say that there is definitely a small percentage of females who actually know who is who in the scene and it is definitely a plus for me when I meet a potential friend (girl) who is somewhat informed and passionate about the music like I am. I don’t rule out the rest though because I love other genres too, and I always get excited at the chance to convert someone:) But my main preference is and always will be electronic.

no, i understand it translates out to "oh my god, hi to you"... but what is that implying? like wow, you've just stated something so obvious that i'll just be sarcastic and say hello? i don't understand the relevancy of that statement "omghi2u". that's all. anyone care to elaborate?
