I tried to create supersaw sample in v-station and I cant find the way.

Any ideas?

Supersaw is special to the Jp80x0.. just like double saw is special to the supernova.. they are just special waveforms.. vstation doesnt use this waveform..

I believe the JP8080 emulator vst, the superwave (dont use it) has the supersaw waveform.

I find using a square on vstation with the pwm widths very wide.. can create the sawwy sound your going for.

Oh, thats why I couldn't ;)
Thanks bro!

Unless there is a particular supersaw, you are trying to recreate. I don't know why it couldn't be done in the v-station. Try using 3 saw waves. At least 2 detuned if not all. Set the filter all the way open and the resonance to 9 o clock. Add some reverb. Crank the chorus up to your liking. Then layer it. You should get that big supersaw sound.

Well, i read this post and i was like.. even tho i have my Jp-8080 sitting right here infront of me.. i feel like showing you that it is very possible to get the supersaw sound from the novation v-station.

::: I made 2 different supersaw presets and here are my examples :::
::: P.S. Each Samples is only one Session of v-station, no stacking here :D :::
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alphablue Supersaw Patch 1 Example

This was all done in v-station with no external effects such as delay or reverb.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alphablue Supersaw Patch 2 Example

This was also all done in v-station with no external effects such as delay or reverb.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alphablue Supersaw Patch 2 Example 2

This was all done in v-station but this had an additional external effects added to it including delay, reeverb, and some filtering.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well now you know it can be done.
Perhaps if i get some extra time, i will make a new tutorial about this. what do you guys think? yes or no?
:D

Whats the best thing to modulate in making a supersaw, I find taking two supersaws, detuning them etc, doesnt quite get there. I have no Idea what I would modulate, I can only make A WHOOOM sound with an lfo modulating the Cut-off, thats no good:D
