Something about the christian religion that is rather strange...

Ok, with the Christian religion, there are alot of things that really are wierd.
1. You can compare it to the Norse(Viking) religion very well. They had a Heaven(Valhalla) in which they did what they enjoyed the most, fighting. And they had a Hell, which consisted of what they truly hated: The cold. Their "hell" was a place of cold, which they hated, while the christian "hell" consists of "burning", which is known well as a horrible and extremely painful thing. Of course, the Norse appreciated fire as a bringer of warmth, and used it as an honorable way to "bury" their kings on longboats that were pushed out to sea while burning.
That's all for now. Anyone else finding this kind of wierd? |

mmm yes, much like an orange and bowling ball are similar. They are both 3 dimensional objects, explode when you strap dynamite to them, and will get wet when placed under water.
I think we're on to something. |

| I find it strange that you say "there are alot of things that really are wierd" yet you only provide one example, which really isn't all that weird to begin with. Looking at the places where the respective religions started just might give you a clue as to why the two believe those things about the proverbial heaven and hell. |

Right, but "Passion" is a blockbuster and old Norse gods (were there any that walked the earth or sacrificed themselves for the sins of mankind?) are relegated to the bargain bin in the video stores. I think the public reflects where the interests lie on the topic.
