Best acts @Ultra imo: JUNKIE ING XL,(what a pimp! damn!)how creative and chill is this guy-i was TOTALLLLLLLY impressed and blown away, BEAUTY NEVER FADES AND BEASTIE BOYS! Ryan and I randomly met him out in the street b4 he performed at The Ritz Hotel on 17th and Ocean- what a cool dude, really friendly and wearing the exact same kind of outfit he wore at ultra lol-his signiture getup i guess, AND JOHAN GIELEN-first one to see when we entered ultra (dropped one bomb after another! Cafe Del Mar- kkkk! among a million others, he is def one of my favorite djs without a doubt= great attitude can we say CROWD CONTROL? he ing owned everyone. we were all- including him sweating nig ballz cuz it was so hott dancing and going nuts; the crowd was I=N-sane during his whole set woohoooo, so awesome i coulndt handle it,
@Space, PVD ING BANGED IT OUT, wow. just wow. space was literally transformed during those 5 hours, i cnt describe the feeling but it was just different, the place was insane! Marco V has to be the cutest thing ever in person ,( got to meet him that night chillen up in the space booth(thanks ian lol) and his set was the shiz of course- another one of my favorites! every tune -pure perfection imo; could NOT stop moving, and he played havannah and relooped 2 of my faves.
TIESTO TIESTO and TIESTO damn, if you were there you know. he played so much different type of stuff ALL AMAZING , he never dissapoints.... ultra for him was average overall (sahara/silence/love comes again= sickkkkk) but Space- this is the best ing set I have ever heard/seen live from him. The vibe in Space for this was through the roof and noone who was there can deny that.
And btw all you people who thought Space was crowded for any of these shows:

Space was ing EMPTY compared to how that place was expected to be,
if you go there on a normal basis, you would know what i mean. Pvd, Tiesto,Corsten-
NOT PACKED. I was overwhelmed with joy regarding this aspect of the conference, i had room to dance and chill every night. Sandra's performace wasnt good at all imo as far as track selection. you cant go to space and play breaks- dont get me wrong i love breaks but everything she dropped just didnt go anywhere, no buildups/breakdowns just very boring and repetitive. felt bad bc people were literally walking off the dance floor and it got pretty empty... i love her style and have seen her a couple times and have heard some sets that are just amazing. Caught the end of Sander- he just went the off. Got up to the terrace and I hear Depeche Mode-"No Good" which is *THEE* ing BOMB tune, From then on it was nonstop dancing . Oakenfold was great at Space i thought,. he definitely played way harder than i was expecting but HELL YEA thats what i love and he did an awesome job.
CORSTENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! blew every1 AWAY! Force of Gravity(corsten mx), somebody(corsten mx),kai-tracid-conscious(corsten mx_ just a few that stood out to me,
Wish Armin would have played longer at Level (what all he did play was sick!); but Markus , Harry Lemon and all the TA peeps (you guys rockkkkkkk) made up for it-good times! I had so much fun everyyyyy day and night despite NO sleep and being pretty whacked alot of the time lol. WOW,
THE BEST VACATION OF MY LIFE. Glad to hear every1 had such a great time, especially those who had never been to Space or partied in Miami, it was so great meeting and hanging out with all the TAs i always tlak to online-you know who you are. My only regret-
missing the dinner bc we were @ the Clevelander eventvibe party just a TAD way too tipsy(our fault-sorryyy)
The pic of you all is just beautiful, and im so jealous i wasnt there to share that moment with you guys.
Cant wait til next year!

During PvD's set, right by most of the FLTA's/Atlanta TA's. You were wearing a pink bikini top.
Don't worry about it..I ain't called the legendary ROGUE FLTA for nothing.....I nkinda blend in with the shadows, if you know what I mean.
I didn't say Hi cuz I was sober. :( |

OK...well here's my review of the whole WMC bundle... :tongue2
well, my pvd review is in the pvd thread, but all i must say of pvd @ space was HE FARKIN KICKED ASS! :toothless
and now for ultra:
Junkie XL: was GOOD! when he started his set with blue pill, red pill, i went w00t!!! he def started his set in a great way!
Tiesto: he was good....he had some remarkable tracks. It was nice of him to throw out vinyls and stuff as well :toocool:
Oakenfold: come on now, he could've done better. that whole pdiddy was not working.
Chemical Bros: i wasn't feeling it at all. and neither was anyone in my row.
Paul van Dyk: :toothless what can i say????? yet again, he was GREAT! i knew he was going to close w/ the remix of crush but i don't mind because i love that song...AND he threw out some Rock the Vote shirts, and he threw one to me! among that, he smiled 3 times.! not 1, not 2, BUT 3!!! :) lol....he saw me actively involved in his set! he def made my WMC trip REMARKABLE! i love.:crazy: |
