this is the bottom line from my prespective: Because I hate all the genre labelling and all that bull I'll simply say this: Progressive has never been this exciting, it definitley has a lot of uplifting trance influence in it, and we are finding that happy medium between typical 4/4 beats with large synth and the "progressive", unheard sound of progressive

that may be your view, but imo, some of the remixes of Delerium tracks do not do the original version any justice what so ever

But to be honest... I think there's definitely a shift in the world of electronic music. Trance tracks are constructed different than a few years ago. Prog received more support from trance-fans than before, prog is getting more mainstream and perhaps trance is loosing some.
But the styles are still completely different!! Trance stays trance and prog is prog! No evolving! |
