DANCE != TRANCE, man. trust me its all that Miami club mix junk that you hear on the station, the trance mixes are rare on that station.

Your just jealous.

Honestly, it's stupid for people to think that they'd want their favorite kind of music to stay underground. The artist themselves, wouldn't want to stay "underground". Every DJ wants to go mainstream, hit the euro charts for american djs.

Alot of my friends don't like trance for the music itself, it's more of a combination of ecstasy and trippying out over trance that caused their liking to trance.

Jealous of what? Look buddy, I thought I made it clear in my post that I didn't really care whether the music was commercial or whether it was so underground that I would have to pull it out of somebody's ass. So long as the general fans, whom I'm interacting with every single time I go out clubbing, are generally "true" fans of the music, and actually appreciate it as opposed to making some kind of popularity statement, then I don't particularly care which way it goes.

no you were generalizing
techno has like 3 "sounds" at most

most =generalize

The thing is; computer, synth, drum machine is a instruments just like drums, guitar and etc.The difference between them is they make different sounds

for everyone that complains about Electronica and how it's not real, just tell them that an electric guitar isnt real

also i picked this little adage up somewhere as well

"To take music and play it like a machine... that's easy. But to take a machine and play it like music... that takes talent."

it might've been another TA on his sig or whatever
PETRAN
i ve never heard epic trance in greece EVER in my life there is only progressive here in the radio!
LinX
it sucks that trance isnt so popular here as it is in europe...

wait maybe thats a good thing...
mndeg
i would say creating music with a machine is harder than just moving your fingers or whatever, takes a lot more creativity as well.
almost everything amateurs create is complete cheese (when they start)

Nell
the uk is covered in trance everywhere you go.. on the radio, tele, films, clubs etc etc etc. i like it
hardstyle
