I agree...wasn't Armin on the stage for Labour of Love a couple of years ago? They should use it more often.
but I'm there regardless...it's pretty hard to pass up Tiesto in Guv on a thursday night...the crowd should be good and I'm guessing that it won't be that packed. |

| im talking about the venue itself. Its one of the more remarkable places in the world yet all i hear is complaining. It's far less expensive and less crowded than most major events i have ever attended in the world and thats a fact... |

as a paying customer, I have the right to complain. Tiesto is a huge draw...probably the biggest outside of Labour of Love in Toronto for these types of events. So wouldn't you, if you were the manager, book him in the biggest room with the stage? The Guvernment is a small club...it's capacity is what...1600? The KH can fit 3000 or more comfortably. It makes no sense at all. |

yeah no ...It's almost as if he feels we should bow down in front of them just because they're coming to Toronto. I think it's great Tiesto and other big Dj's come here, but since their gigs are sparse and often very, very busy, I don't think it's too much trouble for The Guvernment staff to at least try to make the experience more enjoyable. Being squished in like worms and not being able to see the Dj is not a good experience. |

it makes sense because despite the fact it only holds about 1600, 3000 will still attend (and pay whatever exhorbant cover charge).. that and they don't even have to open up the other room .. :D
