we're spoiled because we have access to major clubs and world class dj's?? it's called living in a major metropolis...world class acts come to world class cities and it's not cheap to live in one...i feel fortunate to live in toronto and see all the artists that come to the city but i pay a pretty price for the right to live in this city so the last thing i feel is spoiled....
it's great that armen likes the guv but that has nothing to do with over crowding...
the bitching thing might be getting old but the bitching about the bitching is getting even older;) |

| As "world class cities" go, Toronto is one of the cheapest ones when it comes to clubbing. Especially for the types of venues you get for such little cover. |

I will go to see Tiesto no matter what.
I care about seeing my favorite DJs, hearing good tunes and being with my friends.
And as I've said before --- I always seem to find a comfortable space @ Guv - so no complaints. |

He was talking about living in TO being expensive, not clubbing. |

I was talking about clubbing... as for cost of living, Toronto is middle of the road for "world class cities"
There are cheaper places but for a city the size of Toronto, things are quite cheap. |

are you referring to my comment about Labour of Love 2002? Well, I was generally pleased with the way 2003 played out...the routes were one way and were kept clear, plus it wasn't nearly as busy as the year before...not quite sure why though. But if they put Tiesto in the Guv, the Fire Department might just get a letter, but not from me because I won't be there in that pit of hell.
Besides, it wasn't a letter..it was a cell phone call.:p |

it seems to me you are paid to defend the guv, why im not sure? considering you know that more than half these people WILL actally attend cause their love for music is greater than their hate for the guv. so let them complain, most of them will still be there, and you will still get your paycheck;)
thats what this post is about, discussing your excitment about Tiesto. unfortunatly it he is at the guv, so people are gonna make their comments. If you dont like it, dont open any of the threads that say "guv" or "guvernment", cause you are bound to read guv bashing.
and as to our 'hot air' it seems as if something was changed because Decedance was a huge success, and i have heard minimal complaints about that party. Which means somebody did take action.
