Kids in Nebraska would love to have what you have! LOL

You sound like you've never heard Tiesto before...

Sure, 1st time you see a big DJ like this - the venue doesn't matter. The excitement takes over. But after I've seen him enough times, in great venues with great vibes - the venue really does start to matter.
Besides, for many people music is just part of the whole party experience. For many - vibe, ability to dance etc. matter just as much.

If I only went to parties for the music, I might as well listen to the music at home.

I totally agree. I know that we are lucky to have all these superstar DJ's come to TO, but in my opinion venue is very important. I love the music and DJ's and I've seen Tiesto several times but if I am fighting for air all night and get pushed around every 10 sec, then what's the point?

I think most intelligent people feel this way. That room is beyond unsafe...it's downright scary. There have been a few times where I've been stuck/crushed trying to get out of there in the staircase where I almost flipped out and had a freak attack. I'm a little claustraphobic and I don't think I could handle another Labour of Love 2002, which is surely what it will be like if the stupid Guv management s book Tiesto in there.

Can anyone tell me why the Docks didn't book Tiesto? He's said he prefers it over the Guv many times and in my opinion, it's a nicer club. And what is the incentive for Charles, or whoever makes these decisions, to put Tiesto in the room from hell when they have a much more suitable room in the same complex? I don't quite understand the stupidity.

That's what I did last year when I went to see Tiesto @ the Docks, which was on a Wednesday night - totally worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although I'm glad I wasn't operating any heavy machinery the next day :D

awwww, come on...that's gotta be a bit of an exaggeration. Guv gets packed...sometimes over legal capacity, no doubt...but you can EASILY minimize the "danger" for yourself. Don't contantly move around until it thins out later on. Find a good spot and stay there. It will be one less person wandering around causing chaos. I leave my "spot" to hit the bar and the washroom. That's it. Works well enough for me. Even for Ferry it wasn't *that* bad after a while. I'll grant that there's pretty much zero room to dance though...

remember...he's here on a thursday...it shouldn't be like Labour of Love ;)

yups...make ur OWN room...haha yeah hard to do no doubt but u do find a way...usually when im dancing i bug out soo much that the smart ppl will move aside...lol otherwise i head to the stage for awhile till the crowd thins out a little...mostly around 6am or something like that LOL
