| Can anyone recommend any nearby hotels that are cheap? And by nearby, I go so far as to say within a 1/2 hour of the club. I'm gonna definitely try and make it up for this, since its the day after my birthday, and, it is unclear, at least at this point, if he'll be stopping in DC. |

well i know that during the summer the days inn on carlton street, right beside maple leaf gardens, is $99 a night cnd....
that's pretty cheap for right down town(5 min. cab ride to guv)
you could also try bed and breakfasts or might find something cheaper outside the downtown core....there's a couple of hotels listed in the visitors thread but they're not cheap...

Thursdays and sundays used to work just fine in Toronto. As did Wednesdays.
Ahhhh how i long for the days of limelight wednesdays and living room sundays.
Too bad Toronto couldnt pull off a 1000 person crowd on those nights anymore

i think a lot of yall care to much bout the venue and not enough bout the dj. Some people complain way to much. If they actually liked the dj they wouldnt say something like " if hes in KH i'll go but if hes in guv that". it dosent really make much of a difference at all. go there with ur friends and listen to one of the best djs in the world and try not to care about what other people are doing there. Im gonna have a few drinks and try and have fun. Its not gonna be a huge commitment paying $35 for a party.
Some of these people just think of all the problems as soon as the venue is announced. Theres probabley more people compplaing about the venue then there is people hyped about the DJ on this bored .. holy .... think of some of the good points....
1. top DJ in the world
2. the sound system is gonna make it crazy
etc. etc |
