Doubt it...they have their own long distance rules and rates...in any case if anyone is interested you can get the most info on www.microcell.ca :) |

I doubt it, but they have decent long distance rates. $.10/min in Canada (don't know about international). You can also pre-pay long distance minutes and that drops to $.5/min and lower depending on how much you pre-pay. |

Can I just take this time to brag about my phone and my servicer... Orange. I will have the hardest time returning to N.A where cell phones blow cock.
My rates are ing incredible, not to mention free incoming calls.
My phone roxors, high quality jpg's digi cam, mp3 ring tones, and it has ing monopoly on it. How cool is that. |

| I think it's an incredible deal for heavy users and business, especially people on the go. It's also great if you live on your own and want to replace your home phone with a cell...But like i said I'm not 100% sure yet if it will work out fo me since i'm not such a heavy user. |

Is that the Motorola V400 or V500?
Cause Fido now offers the V400 - same as V500 but with no Bluetooth. :D
But I can imagine comming here from there it's definitely a step back. There is a lot more competition over there which benefits the consumer in terms of rates and features. |

| Yeah the V500 does not exist here...but the PVD stuff you can get for the V400 as well...it's too bad cause I would have loved to have the Bluetooth but that means i need to stay with Rogers for another year to get the V600 and they charge too much....buh!:wtf: |

| I am waiting for the V600...Hopefully it will be out by september, that's when I extend my plan with Rogers. What so bad with Rogers? I have nothing but good things to say about them...Maybe Rogers in Toronto sucks?? |

V600 is out already...it's actually been out for a few months now I think... :) I can't get it though cause of some stupid hardware upgrady policy that you can only do it after 2 years even though your contract is up...
The reason i don't like Rogers is because it's much more expensive than anyone else and i don't feel like i'm actually getting more. Besides they have a lot of "fine print" stuff that i don't like...it's mainly a price issue though...
*EDIT*
I just went to the fido store outside my office...you can get a voice mail and caller ID bundle which makes it much cheaper only $6 for both :D |

All you people saying it's not available here or you have to wait until they release it. If you're on Rogers (GSM) or Fido, you don't have to wait for anything. Go on Ebay, buy the damn phone and start using it. Checkout www.howardforums.com they have a large buy and sell section of GSM phones. With GSM you can use any GSM phone you want (as long as it supports the appropriate bands), you don't have to use ones they sell.
I bought my Sony Ericsson Z200 in Singapore in December, used it on Fido. Fido didn't release that phone until March of this year. |
