All you people saying it's not available here or you have to wait until they release it. If you're on Rogers (GSM) or Fido, you don't have to wait for anything. Go on Ebay, buy the damn phone and start using it. Checkout www.howardforums.com they have a large buy and sell section of GSM phones. With GSM you can use any GSM phone you want (as long as it supports the appropriate bands), you don't have to use ones they sell.
I bought my Sony Ericsson Z200 in Singapore in December, used it on Fido. Fido didn't release that phone until March of this year. |
Yep you're right that's another option...the only thing is that you don't get any discount on it as you would from a carier if you sign up for some plan...:happy2: |

Exactly....I'm not gonna wait for either Fido or Rogers to come up with phones ing years later (plus they will be locked to that provider itself). Ebay used to be cheap...but not anymore..but still one of the best sources to get the latest cell phones. |

Read my calculation above...
45 + 0.25 + 4 + 4 = 53.25 + 15% (Tax) = 61.2375
But if you buy both voice mail and caller ID you get a bundle which is what i found out about today...both are $6
so new calculation
45 + 0.25 + 6 = 51.25 + 15% (Tax) = 58.9375 :happy2: |

you need to obtain an ISIC card first.. you can usually get one for free at your school.. www.isic.org
then go here to obtain the discount..
https://studentphonestore.com/store/verification.php
make sure you don't buy anything from that site.. it's kinda shady .. juss apply the discount..it's good for 1 year then u gotta renew it when u start school again the year after.. enjoy!
