I'm lookin' forward to that. At the moment I'm using NES and SNES on my PSP. Where/how did you get the Sega CD emu stuff?

apparently my friend has the hookup, the emu was in german he said.

he said 200 will get you dev hook w/5 new ISOs of choice on a 4GB card. If you have a 1.50 firmware non-IC1003 mobo, you can run devhook launcher.046. DA if you're interested let me know I'm pretty sure he'll do it.

Busy with school and work, and the occasional party. We still communicate through text, myspace etc. She comes on here every now and again.

I'm sorry but anyone who thinks the PSP is better than DS is just lying to themselves. Sony brainwashing at it's finest, to be honest. Funny how everyone, and I mean EVERYONE slammed the Nintendo DS when it was first announced, claiming that Nintendo is about to lose their precious handheld market...and look whats going on. The DS is just destroying the PSP in sales, orginality, and bringing in new gamers.

The same thing will happen with the Wii, just fyi.

I'm probably going to invest in a PSP following the new year solely as a device for emulators/homebrew stuff - Can you all sort me out when I do?

I wouldnt say everyone. For one, the PSP was the new guy on the block. A lot of people thought Sony would be dead in the water because they were actually trying to challenge a company that has reigned supreme in the handheld arena for decades. Nintendo practically monopolized the handheld industry and were taking advantage of the consumer by releasing 40 versions of the same game and releasing an only slightly improved Game Boy every 2 years.

Did it ever occur to you that Nintendo might have created the DS the way it is BECAUSE they feared the PSP? They knew the PSP would slam dunk the Game Boy in terms of graphics, so why not take on the situation from a new perspective and come up with a different way of playing the game altogether? They are doing the exact same thing with the Wii; the PS3 and 360 dominate it in terms of graphical capabilities. But the PS3 and 360 are unable to fully replicate the Wii's control scheme, so it gives Nintendo a unique advantage. The same rate of success the DS is enjoying COULD also be experienced with the Wii, but that totally depends on how much the consumer loves HD graphics (which we really wont be able to tell until Holiday 2007 or around there)

I'm not really agreeing or disagreeing with you, but I'm just saying that competition is what helps the gaming industry. I'm glad Sony finally came on to the handheld scene. I'm glad Nintendo was FINALLY given some real competition that made them actually create a kickass handheld (the GBA was dissappointing IMO).

And the PSP is capable of emulating practically any classic console, so technically, its library FAR exceeds that of the DS if you actually know how to use homebrew. Chances are the normal casual gamer does not, however.

no question!

you have to check for one thing - non-IC1003 mobo located in the top right hand corner inside the UMD slot as if the back of the psp is facing you, open the UMD slot, and look in the top right hand corner where you see the greenish-blue mobo like board.

I'm trying to hook up my damned location free sling box software on my memory stick. once i get the software to run on the memory stick, all i need is a WIFI connection and HOME CABLE TV ON THE ROAD! weeeeeeeeee - can even control the cable box too, change channels, order on demand, use the guide, order ppv...oh i can't wait!
