Although I am a Sony boy I have bought a DS because PSP has pretty much the same games with PS2. :( |

Unlike house music, I don't have anything against Nintendo DS, Wii, GameCube etc or Xbox, 360 etc but I'm getting sick and in' tired of this Xbox vs PS3 and DS vs PSP bull, especially TheDemon's 999 negative PS3 threads that pop up more than rabbits screwing and bearing live young.

Why is it always a negative light on any new Sony product and always general for other branded products, 'oh the ___ is so cool it can do x"? Did you ever ask that question to yourself or did you prefer to post here to show how retarded you are. I'm not going to go through some 'lets look up who has the best stats' contest, thats just retarded.
Tell me it's not true that any DOMINATING Branding always seems to be the bar at which anyone compares other products to. And in natural, we all want to look at the negative qualities in order to show the dominant characteristics of the competing products. It's alright, most Sony fanboys are used to the high-media attention towards the negativities in any Sony related product simply because everyone compares other products to it. Fact is if you like to downtalk Sony specifically, within your opinions there is just a nudge of envy that fuels that comparison. You certainly wouldn't cast media attention on the negatives of a less commonly known product simply because not many people would care. So if it makes you feel better to follow the scene of Sony-Haters, then do so because that's the easy route...you know the motto - it's easier to hate in groups.
Not once did I downtalk the negatives in any other consoles or systems as I give every brand a fair chance. You should try it some time, that is if you're not afraid that you might actually like it and no longer belong to the Sony-Haters scene. It's really turned into a cult following if you ask me, it turned into this 'lets deviate from sony to be open minded and try new fresh things' and caught up within that ideology churns the aboved general consenus of Sony. So open minded that you've all gas'd your heads up to think that EVERYTHING is better than Sony and Sony is hotest brand to downtalk these days, kinda arrogant if you ask me.
It's alright I know some of you are generally mad deep down inside that Sony is such a visible high-profile company in the electronics market, just try and accept the fact that Sony has mass appeal even though they do not dominate the market share.
Suggest you ditch the 'let's hate on Sony' bandwagon and open your mind to multiple application devices you might find more useful then lugging around your 8inch dvd brick + case of dvds, if not then I don't blame you, some people will always be stuck in their ways....just know there is more to the world there big guy. |

Damn theres alot of hate on this thread!
So I'm jumping in.
In my experience, the PSP was pretty cool for a media player and homebrew was awesome. But Lack of games I like made me sell it. Although I enjoyed Lumines and Wipeout tons.
I got a DS now, and I really like lots of the titles they have, especially Megaman ZX which I just cleared.
But if you ask me, its a failure on sony's part because simply they are more expensive to make and they inteded to make UMD's a player. Sony's in bad shape, If I owned Sony Stock I'd sell it in a heartbeat, but this isn't about sony and thats a discussion all in its own. |

and to those who continue saying the DS owns the PSP I LOL. I've seen the PSP do things a DS can't. Also who needs to carry around UMDs or DS cartridges when you have a 4GB Sony Memory Stick (8gb do out soon)...oh the joys of a PSP.
And I can sling my PSP to watch my at-home cable TV with my Sling Box...don't think a DS can do that can it? ;)

who started comparing what? did you buy your own bull that you just wrote? you stated all the things that psp can do and DS cant. i stated that DS can do all of those things that psp can except the tv part.
hmm... lets look at what we wrote in the past before talking about getting off the sony-haters bandwagon... i give sony respect for all of their products but they make stupid decisions and are repeatedly doing them.. thats just bad business.. now one other thing.. the kid has a 100 inch screen. thats uh 8.3 feet.. that means it stays in the house and it wont be visible outside it.. " means inch and ' means feet. please remember your schooling. |
