| Well i know it's a little late but i thought i'd throw out my opinion of the night. Despite it getting off to a rocky start, i was not going to let anything ruin that night. NOw that i understand that Armin's flight was delayed getting in...and that he had no sleep....it's hard to be rough on the guy. Armin is always extremely enthusiastic and accomodating with the crowds and Sunday was no different. It did seem he was more rushed and busy with the set though---probably b/c he only spun for 2 1/2 hours and likely had most everything scripted. The HARDEST set by far and away and too me that was disappointing in a way b/c like some of the others i tend to enjoy the build-ups / breakdowns of what you can accomplish in a longer set---sort of like taking you on a musical journey whereas this was like an assault. I enjoyed it nonetheless. Captured some great pictures and of course one with the man himself. Everytime i've seen him and asked him to play a record...he complied.....it's just too bad he was so rushed this set---i was dying to hear SEATTLE CALLING--AIRWAVE. Oh well right? He'll be back. Looking forward to TIESTO NOW!!! |

| Thought armin did a great set . . . enjoyed it more than his February set though not as much as his August set (listening to that one now . . . damn it's good). Was really disappointed when he stopped at four . . . I thought he was going to spin till at least 8 am or so. No house dancers??? :conf: I expected a teeny bit more from vision considering it was a two year anniversary. I lost a half hour of dance time thanks to the x'd out chick on the floor that burnt me with her cigarette :whip: A couple of shots of jim beam helped elevate my sinister mood :tongue2. Super excited about Tiesto and maybe PVD (his May set at vision was positively brutal) though I heard that soundbar charges $$$$$$ ($50.00 presales for mauro . . . . owie!!!). |
