What cameras are you all using to take pictures?
i originally thought about bringing a cheap-o disposable [much like Dave Attel does in Insomniac, but then when i got there i noticed a lot of people had digital cameras [you could also tell when videos were being taken]. i didn't realize you were allowed to bring those? or do you really have to sneak it in? - just curious, as this event was my first real club experience. and i am all about going back to Vision for Tiesto on the 26th! |

pics or STFU! ;)
tubularbills - i brought my Nikon Coolpix, but all my pictures came out really blurry. i need to fiddle with the settings and figure out exactly what settings work best for a club environment, where everyone and everything is moving really fast. i even had it on the quickest shutter speed (and with the flash turned off), but the pics still came out blurred.
careful with taking videos though (ie, don't get caught). i know people who have gotten scolded for that. |

| Yea so in response to the pictures bit. I've brought my MINOLTA DIMAGE XT camera (i bought it b/c it was so convenient--fits in your back pocket) and most every picture i've taken is GREAT! The shutter speed is a bit slow so it's tricky at times to get an action shot but i manage pretty good. No blurriness usually. I know about the movie things....i've gotten scolded for that. I guess i understand the reasons....but i always just keep the clips for brief memories to have you know?? Cameras as far as i know are always welcome at Vision. It is for that reason i've got pictures with all my favorite DJs!! |

First off let me say I had a great time!! I was just expecting to much I guess, but considering everything that Armin went through and he still spun an awesome set was unbelivable! I loved meeting everyone Tom, UWM, Lucid, Everything0,ninja K, I hope I am not forgetting anyone!! I did think Armin's set in feb. was much better, maybe just for the fact it was longer and had a better encore. I was real happy with Mazi he rocked it. My friend took some really great pics, I'll have to post them; maybe tonight. Gotta get back to work

Both Vision and Sound-Bar allow cameras with apparently no problem.
I have a Canon S400 Elph. Works great when I remember to bring the battery (left it in the charger for the pornstar ball/Darren Emerson :( )
I got a vid of everyone's favorite methhead in the green dress with it on sat night...dunno how it came out though......will have to look at it later.

| I also use the Canon S400 Elph. Takes really great pics and has tons of different settings to try and get the best pic. I'm still getting the hang of using it in the club setting. It takes nice movies too. |

2 things:
1)
I've got a Canon Powershot A60 and it rocks with fast shutter speeds!
2)
more along the lines of the topic, and speaking of "PICS OR STFU" , Vision has posted their pictures that they took that night on their website: Vision Night Club |

Ya.....today is grumpy day #4.
I threw a few pieces of steel across the shop today due to grumpiness.
Sigh,
I think I am grumpy because I want to still be on vacation and still be down under.
The Grump,
MrS
p.s. Rob, the Elphs take very nice little movies. I need to post the one with the meth head...... |
