Not that I need to explain myself...but I was PISSED at someone that was talking to me on MSN. That whole rant was to that person. He knows it. But hey...whatever you want to think about me...go right ahead.

Just reading some posts in that FL thread. I don't know who a lot of the flames fans think they are, but , it's not Calgary has no bandwagon fans either. Seriously your team couldn't even come close to selling out the saddledome for the past 5 years, so just because everyone in the city decided to be diehard once the playoffs started doesn't mean you're the craziest hockey city in the world or anything.
God, as a Vancouver fan it makes me sick how many loser bandwagon hopping idiots the canucks have "supporting" them when they do well, that remarkably disappear and write us off if we happen to lose 2 games in a row or something.
That said, there are a lot of people in Calgary whose summers are more or less ruined now (until the Stampede anyways =P); don't think it would have been quite the same thing had TBay lost.
Welp, time to enjoy Euro 2004, and the Olympics, and then rest up for the main event at the end of August. World Cup of Hockey baby; can't ing wait! |
