| When this thread was created last year, right around the time that I was going to get mine out, I was so scared to get mine pulled after hearing some of the horror stories. But I'll share mine, cause I have a really good one. I went into the Dentist, they gave me my drugs, out I went. Next thing, I woke up and I was crying my eyes out, not because of the pain, it was because of the Valium. I was sitting in the recovery room, crying "Mom, why am I crying??? I'm not in any pain, but I can't stop crying." My Mom drove me home, I slept. I woke up, my boyfriend was there, I was like wanna get some McDonalds. I ate McDonalds the same day that I had my all four of my wisdom teeth out. So for anyone that has yet to have their teeth out, there are some good stories, they're not all bad. |

mine was bad.
My mouth was so small that one of my wisdom teeth ran outt rooma and grew up into my back jaw bone. :( :(
They took the other three out, but for the fourth, they had to break my jaw, and drill the tooth out of the bone, and then replace my jaw. I was awake for all of this, but it just felt funny. The worst part was getting 12 shots in my mouth! OUCH!!!!! But now my jaw cracks all the time...sometimes it will pop and when I chew food it will crack the whole time! Annoying!!:whip: |

| Possibly the easiest thing I have ever had done. I had to get all four out and two were impacted. I was eating an hour later. If they try to give you the tylenol 3's tell them the codine upsets your stomach and they'll give you the perks. I would say the worst thing about the whole thing wasn't pain(because there was none)it would be the 1 or 2 months following where you have to clean the food out of the giants craders in your mouth that the teeth left behind. That was annoying but other than that it was a breeze. |

I had to get mine out the day before Sasha and Lawler and couldn't go . I also had my graduation the following Tuesday and my face was nice and swollen for my pics. My two bottom teeth were badly impacted and had to be chipped out which really sucked cause my dentist hit nerves and now the left side of my lip and chin are still numb a month later. I talked to him about it and he said that the feeling would eventually return, but none of that compares to the pain of not being able to eat solid food for days. I love food :tongue2 .
p.s the holes the removed teeth leave in yours gums is no fun either. Damn food. |

I must've been one of the lucky ones then...
went in, got 'em removed, walked out about 30 minutes later
the swelling went down by later afternoon and I actually ended up at Viva that same night...and the party didn't stop 'till monday morning
had no pain or discomfort, both while on and off Tylenol 3s
the uppers were fine, the bottoms ones were impacted, but they were able to get them out in one piece |
