Is Gandhi in Hell... (pg. 9)

Well, there are controversial pages like this:

http://www.evilbible.com/

And other curious ones like:

http://www.libchrist.com

We physically, emotionally, mentally grow through life. So, we spiritually grow as well. There is a counter-argument to every argument but I see too many REDUNDANT "War of the Words". If more people truly believed what they professed in, they'd live better lives. Both for themselves, and others. I sure see a lot of talk, no walk.

Birds experience the laws of physics like we do but they are hardly on the cusp of beginning to grasp it. Dogs can hear sounds humans cannot, and even among humans we have many different and unique levels of understanding. As knowledgeable as we may think we are sometimes, we are lacking many pieces of the puzzle still.

I've come not to look for end-all answers, but to continue on the path of the journey, past boring semantics and religious debates. I've come to listen and learn. "Christian" is a really vague, loaded word. No two people are going to experience life the same way, but labeling -- like calling a certain type of music "trance" -- is a necessary "evil" for accessibility and convenience's sake.

If you are so confident in your beliefs, you can feel free to share them and listen to other viewpoints but remain secure in your faith (as to what remains a question mark) while continuing to grow.

The world's a big place. :)

Now let's get science moving along -- there are enough old superstitions and quackery keeping it from progressing as much as it should. Fundamentalist dogma and dubious social traditions prevent many from making their own well-informed personal decisions. Disprove as much can be disproved, and what remains is a question of . . . faith.

Wherever Gandhi is right now, I hope he's having a damn good time. ;)

I know exactly where Ghandi is. 95 % of him is floating around the various rivers of India. Undoubtedly what the fish haven't eaten, is probably sediment in some body of water. The other 5% is in an urn sitting in a bank vault in the city of Cuttack. Sounds like he's having a pretty bitchin time to me ...

well i am also roman catholic however i tend to view things differently...i do not think that if you live a righteous life but you r not a christian you r going straight to hell. sometimes the religion you choose is not much of a choice and you shouldnt have to pay for it. live your life as good as possible and as moraly as you can and you will be alright i think. now wether u wear a cross or not i dont think that will determine it but it will help..afterll porn stars wear crosses that doesnt mean they r goin to heaven. so in answer to ur question i think ghandi is in heaven.

Hey, it's like that Circle of Life thing... from the Lion King! :D
Pariah Cleric
I'm not a Christian, but I'm not an "OMGTEHBIBLE IS TEH SUX!!1one" type of person, but Christians should be wary of what the Bible says as it was edited by some Roman Emporer (Can't remember which), who wasn't Christian (he was baptised on his death bed.)

Constantine? Not to mention the numerous edits and interpretations afterwards.

Like the Telephone Game...

"Hey baby, let's all go to the buffet -- same food for everyone, but different food for each of us."

:haha:

his soul is separate from his body...he was most likely cremated and the ashes were strewn across the ganges. thats like saying anyone who is in a coffin is having a bitchin time while their corpse is decaying....

obviously after death the body is no longer as important as the soul.

well wouldn't you rather have someone believe that what matters more is what you do in your life, and not totally on just what faith you belong to?

You clueless twats.

Religions know how powerful guilt can be as a motivator so they instill images of an imaginary place called hell into their followers' minds as punishment if they don't follow the word, and it works a treat.

I mean, you can understand uneducated people a few hundred years ago believing this kind of rubbish but you wouldn't expect intelligent people in today's society to be so stupid.

Imagine living your life based upon whats someone else wrote in a book. Bloody hell, if you want to do that write your own book and follow that instead, I'm sure it would be more fun.

do you know? have you died before?

His soul is the in the same place it always was: in the imaginations of the masses.
