It is quite a radical measure Swamper took, but I kind of understand him. Some certain individuals on the boards are "post-hunters" and keep on posting messages that have no use whatsoever. So Swamper decided to stop the count on any post that is made in the C.O.R. (others might be familiar with this too)
What do U think? We R not judging Swamper's decision necesarly, but the fact (that is true) that so many useless is being posted.
Come to think about it, useless can be posted anywhere.
So, the Chillout Room is just for fun now... well, shouldn't it be? |

| I don't think there are so many useless posts that Swamper has to go and do that but if he wants to I guess he has every right since he runs the site. Maybe people will stop making the useless posts and things in the C.O.R. will go back to normal. Many of the TAs do get a lot of posts in the chill room...is it necessary to punish all of us for something a few people are doing? |

how is it punishing us because our post count doesnt go up? who cares? |

I may just move the post count into an individual users' profile so you don't even see it at all.
That is next step if this doesn't work. |

great idea indeed!
this place is about trance and the chillout room is here to just post whatever/vent/discuss stuff other than music and so on
and yes, post count is kinda useless, who cares how many posts have you made, all that matters that you get involved in discussions and such |

post count doesn't mean much in chillout room...it's here for people to chill & have fun...not compete how many posts they do :p:p:p
