Surprise Surprise
Is this a conspiracy from Bush?
To maybe show himself as a great defender and to boost his election votes?
Every since I read a headline saying Osama bin Laden was an ex employee of the US government...
i had a feeling that Al-Quehida isnt an independent organization.
Also...dont these attacks seem to come at convienant times?
Whats ur opinion?

This image sums up all i have to say about the supposed war on terror and it's true objective.
Shaking Hands: Iraqi President Saddam Hussein greets Donald Rumsfeld, then special envoy of President Ronald Reagan, in Baghdad on December 20, 1983. |

This basterd killed his own people as well...and he considers himself a great leader?
What needs to happen to him is one of the children who's family he killed...or disfigured his body should rip off his right testicle and shove down his throat.
Also all seeds of this mans penis must be destroyed...and the ashes should be sent to the sun.
"i want to rip that bitches vagina off" quote of Saddams daughter in regards to a teacher she doesnt not like. daddy's angel :eyespop:

Everytime that moron, Bush chokes on a dounut they issue a terrorist threat to cover up the fact that the commander in chief is a friggin retard. The timing of these alerts are definately significant, but then again, for a nation that loves to keep its citizens on a high state of alert everytime a brown guy with a suspious bulge boards a plane, i'm hardly suprised.
It's probably blow over, like most of these alerts usually do...or maybe it won't...fact is, it's become a norm of the US Government to break the tedium of normal life by annoncing the presence of some foreign threat, just to give US voters something additional to think about. It's about time the rest of us stopped caring...or maybe that might be a mistake too. Hmmm, hasn't it been like 6 months since the US invaded a sovereign country ? |

While your comment is convenient for the present arguement, we must remember what was happening at that time the photo was taken.
Iraq was in an 8 year war with Iran and the U.S. at that time sure as hell wasn't going to let Iran win it.
Iraq was clearly in bed with the U.S. then, there's no denying that; hell everyone knew that, so what's the point of the picture again? |

I can't believe how many otherwise intelligent people turn into completely crackpots when the subject of Bush comes up.
Yes, he's not the greatest president of all time.
Yes, his economic policy and public speaking skills suck large.
Yes, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed.
But a nationwide conspiracy? Faking terrorist threats to keep himself in office? Ok yeah, you really do have to be drunk or high to come up with that. One minute you're bashing Bush for how much of a moron he is, the next minute you're telling us he's capable of manipulating the entire American public into believing that foreign allies are really enemies à la 1984.
Which is it, folks? Is he a moron or a diabolical genius? Ya can't have it both ways. He can't be a slobbering ape *and* a criminal mastermind.
It's far more likely that he's just a typical, right-wing, conservative, patriotic American who loves his country but isn't really too bright when it comes to planning a nation, or really when it comes to anything else. I give you that he's pretty dumb, but most of the U.S. presidents have been pretty dumb.
Be careful of the left media that will spin any story to make a Republican look bad. They did the same thing with Reagan. Take a look at Clinton's track record though and you'll see that he was no saint either, and yet he hardly came under any scrutiny by the media. And since the American media didn't pay much attention to him, the Canadian media didn't have any juicy stories to rip off.
It's sad how Canadians need to constantly feed their egos by bashing Bush and the USA. They're not perfect but neither are we, and the fact that we just voted in the same Liberal government that essentially turned us into America Jr. really should bring to light the fact that we don't pay nearly enough attention to our OWN politics.
I don't know if it's an inferiority complex or what, but I'll tell you this: the most refreshing thing about being down in the USA is that Canada suddenly becomes utterly insignificant. They really don't give a flying about what's up north. And yet we here in Canada seem to talk about the USA non-stop. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a good thing to be educated in international politics but when I say educated I mean educated, not peddling fanatically strong opinions rooted in almost no fact whatsoever.
How many people here have studied the current political situation in the USA from NON-MEDIA sources? Let's hear it. There are new books and papers and essays coming out all the time from people who have done their homework - have any of you bothered to read them or do you just believe everything you hear from Bush-bashers? |
