from a trance point of view, id say armin van buuren, ive yet to hear a bad set from him, i know people may moan about lack of change, but thats cos they listen to too much ASOT. His sets flow superbly from start to finish and he doesnt play Traffic after The World Doesnt Know like some do :D

Generally PvD is pretty sound

Carl Cox? Tiesto? The only Carl Cox live cd I heard had beat match errors on every mix, and Tiesto's mixing is inconsistent at best. Gotta go Nick Warren, Sasha, John Digweed, Sander Kleinenburg, Armin and Ferry, and Hernan Cattaneo.

Richie Hawtin's pretty damn good, I must admit. He was too minimal when I saw him, but technically very sound. BTW, I wasn't the only one who thought his set was minimal here last time. Some of his bigger fans felt the same way. Need to see him again, hopefully live PA though.
