CONGRATULATIONS BARCA FOR WINNING YOUR FIRST TROPHY SINCE ..... ummmm i cant even remember therefore i forgive you for dissing madrid ... when you support a club that has acheived so little success by its standards over the past few years you tend to get a lil grouchy when your RICHER more glamorous rivals hog the spotlight... :stongue:
sure sure all you guys will go on about how well barca are playing and how bad madrid are playing but this is only one season ... |

???????? what the hell are you talking about? I hate stupid people that make such stupid comments! you obviously dont know anything and I would ussually just ignore someone like you but you posted way too much so i have to post... You say "barca owns us" because you are 7 points ahead of us in La Liga? Well what about the 29 times Real Madrid were champions of La Liga, the three times they were champions of the Intercontinental cup, the 7 times that we won the Supercopa de Espana, and the 9 times that we won the UEFA Champions League? name ,me ONE team that even comes close to the achievements of Real Madrid and then we sill see who owns who. |

which is why i said woodgate and samuel is still a quality defender... not all players play their best the moment they transfer to another league ... once he settles down he mite become the wall he was at roma |

Real Madrid defender Jonathan Woodgate is to receive treatment on his long-standing thigh injury in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Spanish giants confirmed on Friday that their 20million euro summer signing will travel to America in the next few days to be examined at the Cleveland Clinic.
Woodgate broke down in training on Thursday with a recurrence of the thigh injury that has kept him out of action since April

Woodgate was 'risky' signing for Real
(Filed: 08/10/2004)
Real Madrid's doctor warned the club that they were taking a risk by signing Jonathan Woodgate because of the England defender's thigh injury.
Layoff: Jonathan Woodgate broke down in training yesterday
Woodgate, who has not played since April, is to be sent to a clinic in America for specialist treatment on his leg after he broke down in training yesterday.
The 24-year-old, who cost Real £13.4 million from Newcastle in the summer, was hoping to make his debut in a friendly next week, but now faces intensive treatment at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio to repair his muscle, although it is hoped he will not need surgery.
Real confirmed that he needed the treatment after Alfonso del Corral, the club's doctor, told the Diaro AS daily in Madrid that he had raised concerns about the seriousness of the injury when he conducted Woodgate's medical.
"The medical staff always work honestly," he said in AS. "We told the club that the player was arriving with a risk in the front of his thigh muscle.
"I give the technical information and transmit the real physical state of the player because that is my professional obligation. I cannot say no to the club signing a player and I would never send a report saying 'this lad won't play again'."
However, Del Corral did praise Woodgate's attitude since he arrived at the Bernebeu.
"He has worked splendidly over the last two months and we are going to do all we can do for the muscle to help it to regenerate and to scar over well," he said.
"We knew it was an important injury and we have worked hard so that, with the correct treatment, the affected area could be cured. Unfortunately that has not been the case.
"We have to be cautious, because it all depends on whether or not he has an operation. We have a diagnosis and two or three alternatives to find a solution."
putooooooooooooooooos madrid :haha: |

I have always supported Barcelona over Real Madrid (planning to go watch a game at the Camp Nou shortly :) ) simply because when I was growing up all my favourite players seemed to play for Barca (Maradona, Stoichkov, Koeman, Romario, Ronaldo (pre-spoilt brat days), Rivaldo etc.) but I had never really hated Madrid...
... up until a couple of years ago when they decided to unleash a McFootball franchise upon us. All of a sudden every one was a Madrid "fan" and white Siemens shirts popped out of nowhere. So this particular year's demise has been very sweet for me.
People say how much quality this team has blah blah... no , the government of Spain bankrolls their budget. All flash but no cash if you ask me. I sincerely wish Real Madrid all the misfortune this season but they wont be needing my help it seems. :) |
