yes well, everyone has a common denominator with every body else ... :)
To exemplify the very un-commerical nature of Barcelona (as opposed to the fancy-shmancy Madrid media hyperbole) witness that Barca remains pretty much the only big-league club in Europe not to have corporate sponsors (apart from the makers of the kits obviously). That in itself is a powerful statement of identity seeing the club represents an entire sub-culture of Spain (Catalunia), has supporters stretching the globe, and play in a stadium that houses 70-80 thousand fans. If you want to read a good book on Barca check out Barca- A People's Passion by Jimmy Burns.
Anyways, enough of Barcelona- this is a Real Madrid thread after all :) |

| Real Madrid have announced they have won the race for Mascherano from River Plate. They beat out Inter, Arsenal, Barca, Deportvio the deal is for 20 million and he could join in Jan. |

its problably a matter of months till its offical , but real madrid didnt announced that. also because river wants to keep their fans calm until january... |

| The 6 weeks of Beckham is not entirely sure... In fact they are seeing if he can play this saturday for Real'sgame in La Liga..... however there there are some other REAAAALLY bad news.... Jonathan Woodgate just had his new medical checkup and it appears he wont be able to play for another 10 weeks :whip: :whip: |
