No, the normal line up wil be the one written by evil_bastard, with Beckham and Helguera in the center.

And the defense will be weak if both Samuel and Woodgate can't play... wich will be the case of the next match, this saturday against Numancia. :nervous:

Zidane also plays like a central attacking midfielder, he is not like a left winger but he and Figo play either side of Beckham. Sometimes Figo gets into wide positions but generally they use their full backs for width because Salgado and Carlos love to get forward and attack down the flanks. Helguera's job is to sit back, patrol the midfield and try to prevent counter-attacks. So it's a little bit like this:

---------------Casillas-----------------
-----------------------------------------
Salgado----Samuel---Woodgate-----R.Carlos
--|--------------------------------------|
--|--<=======Helguera=====>----------|
--|--------------------------------------|
--|---Figo----Beckham----Zidane---------|
--|--------------------------------------|
--V---------Raul----Ronaldo-------------V

I don't know if Camacho will change the tactics though. If Samuel or Woodgate are injured he might put Helguera in central defence.

I can't find any English sites reporting this but I found this from the Spanish media today:

It says that Woodgate is being investigated for possession of cocaine and that this may explain why Newcastle decided to sell him so quickly.

Woodgate, bajo sospecha

Espanyol beat Real tonight 1-0.

One of the craziest games I have seen. Only saw the highlights but commentators said the refs almost looked payed off. 3 penalties given to Real, Carlos got 2 yellows but didnt leave the field, and they were given 6min ET. Doesnt matter in the end as they lose again! YEAH!

Actually, Real Madrid only failed 1 penalty, the other 2 were against them. Plus Salgado and Samuel saw the red card.

But this is not a good reason for Real Madrid play, I haven't watched the match but I'm sure that Espanyol deserverd the win.
