Canada will take it this year. No matter what the lines are... you can't go wrong.
Sweedes are looking great, but their goaltending will be their downfall... it'll show when they start playing teams that are more competative.... Finland vs Sweeden should be interesting.
Finland.... Kiprusoff, 2 shout-outs! Selanne comming off a not so good year, is playing amazing too!
Russia I feel is underrated in this... true they don't have some of the top talent that they could've had such as Mogilny and Federov, but after seeing what they did to the states, they might just make far. Kovalev's goal... holy !!
Germany... ugh...5 good players and a Goalie that anyone could score on. Washington should know by now that the main reason they can't get anywhere is because of Kolzig.
Czech... still trying to get it together, but won't do it in time.
The U S of A. Chelios... good goal on his own net! The old team won't do it.
Slovakia has a team that's maybe a step up higher then the czechs, but doesn't quite have it enough to go on either.
My prediction on the final four is:
Canada, Russia, Sweeden and Finland |
