let's not be underestimating the finns in the finals.... i think they finally got the missing piece of the puzzle this year with kiprusoff... they will be a tough opponent in the finals... may all but 3 hairs be plucked from my head if i am wrong...
ps... i'm working under the assumption that we will beat the czechs.... may god afflict me with a canker sore if i am wrong.... |

dayuuuuuuum.... luongo really saved the day that game. 37 stops! and there were more than a few outstanding saves that really held us in it. but marty should be ready for the final on tuesday

Wow...what a game!!
If it wasn't for Luongo's seeing-more-rubber-than-the-401 regular season; this game could have been a lot worse.
The goals he did let in were mostly bad deflections; nothing he could do anything about.
IMHO a worth replacement for Brodeur. :cool:
That last goal was amazing considering his body was behind the net; Lecavalier has a long reach! and even he didn't think he had the shot when I watched the interviews with him, lol...
A great nail-biter of a game and one I'll remember for a long time to come; what hockey's all about!!!
