Indeed...and imagin Pavel Bure still playing? ;)...It's a shame they aren't there BUT, it's a good opportunity for the young guys and the new generation to show it's skills and they are doing great so far!

| Yeah...the older Russian players were apparently ed over majorly back in the day by a guy named Tihonov...and since he's sitll involved in the program most of them said they won't play...and there was also a coaching/magagement dispute...anyway...it's the second youngest team now nice to see that there's new blood too :p |

I cought the last 5 minutes before they went to overtime and pulled the goalie 2 minutes before the end. It was craz...:eyespop:. By the way isns't the Swedish goalie - Telqvist a Leafs goalie? |

yeah he is, but he kinda sucks :p if we just had a better goalie we would easily have won that game ;)

haha... yeah man, he's our back-up goalie, but like I said before Telqvist is inexperienced. He hardly plays during regular season in the NHL, and is usually in the minors.

I think it's has to do with politics why these players aren't playing for Russia. |
