I'll never forget Orbax and the "ghost dick" analogy.
Nothing good can come from knowing a woman's sexual past. Especially if it's on video. |

depends on what their past is. |
So really you do want to know what their past is like, otherwise how would you know if it's the sort of past you'd want to know about??
It's too late to be talking about such things. My brain hurts. :( |

it depends on what sort of passed it is...if its something that shows me they have a weird psycho character..then yes i do care..but if its a past like they got raped in a park..well then no i couldnt careless |

the poster asked if you would care about their past not if you would like to know about their past.

I personally don't really care.
For starters I'd much ratherr be with someone experienced that knows what they are doing than a prude that has issues and hangups regarding sex.
If you like someone, a large part of that person's personality is made up by the experiences and events in their life and you can't have one without the other.
I never ask things like "how many people have you slept with", "what sort things have you got up to", "what did you do that for", "whens the last time you had sex". It just seems really immature to me, and its none of your business.
If there is some major issue generally people will tell you anyway.
I think that worrying about such stuff shows low self esteem. |

or maybe people just wanna be safe. i know i don't wanna catch anything. i might not straight up say hey...you been banging around? but i'm gonna find out if that person has anything before i do the deed. |

Of ing course, but when is that going to happen?
You must watch too many stupid shows, and on top of that I'd never possibly date someone that could have been a guy, you can tell these things. |

not really. i mean, say somebody got raped and beaten, or was a drug addict and lived on the streets, but they're trying to turn their life around. some people dont want the poeple that they start relationships to know things like that. and its not wrong or immature to be interested in a persons past. it gives you a good understanding of their life and their personality.
think of it this way (sorry there isnt a better example, but you get the picture.) a girl and her mom are best friends and her mom dies some trajic death. a year later you meet a girl at a club and as you get to know her you find out she likes jokes a lot. you pull out a "your mom" joke and she flips out, smacks you and runs out crying. at that point you would realize that you should have learned of her past as best as possible. crappy example, but it gets the point across... |
