well if water is already frozen it will turn to liquid when heated...but then that is true for many substances:D |

once, an ant and an elephant got married (the ant was the female, the elephant was the male)
but the ant's father was vehemently opposed to their marriage, and the elephant was understandably afraid of what he mite do...

"jenny, can you please come out of the pool for a sec??"
"but why??" asked jenny..
WHAT DID THE ANT SAY IN RESPONSE???

no water was the answer to the second question, not the first. for the first one quickstep had the answer in the riddle:
A box without hinges, key, or lid.
Yet golden treasure inside is hid
an EGG!

Thanks Izzy, I thought they were the same riddle. oops. :D I figured the second one was water, but the first one threw me off-guard. Good job on the egg riddle. I know you know where I got that riddle. Anyone with the answers for the others? *hint* the second one is related to the color *hint* and the third, well you just keep trying. |

OK quick REALLY easy one coz I'm off to bed.
Imagine a huge piece of land with a river running through it. For decades the people from each side of the river have fought for the water and the land on each side. Eventually they make peace and each side of the river becomes a different country, with the river being neutral ground, belonging to neither side. One day a plane crashes right in the middle. How do they decide which country the survivors should be buried in? |

you are traveling on a road. as you are heading in a certain direction, you meet a fork in the road. you have no idea which way to go, but there are two fellows standing each on one fork. now, one guy always lies, but the other guy always tells the truth. you can ask them only one question, and you can only ask one guy that one question. what do you do??? |
