well this is TA, most of the people on here are 14 year old dips. I wouldnt be surprised if you did.

I wasn't especially bothered until you started using your opinion on Mark Sherry to save face when you'd been owned. Knowing when you're wrong is important, and you just kept going. |

- It's a way of letting people know that it's an official TP/promo and not a leaked illegal mp3, which could otherwise cause concern.
- It informs people that the respective tune isn't available to purchase yet, should they be interested in it.
- It's a way of hilighting the tune's exclusivity so the mix is more likely to attract attention from people after new material.
Either way you're the only one against that view and you're only making yourself look like more of a each time you post so I'd advise walking out on this one tbh.
Anyone got that 'do not feed the trolls' sign handy? ;) |

You can give your opinions as long as they are based on actually listening to the mix which i very much doubt you have done.
your first post had only one intent, to flame Mark Sherry, if you have nothing constructive to post, then don't bother!
Your understanding of why Mark Sherry posted his tracklist in the style he did only shows how little you know.
Every member of this board deserves respect, no matter if they are a big name DJ or a 14 year old kid who has just joined to learn about trance,
Just because this is the internet, it does not give you the right to bad mouth other people who use it.
You are a faceless idiot sitting behind a computer, it's so very easy to be 'big and hard' when you are sitting safe in your own home.
The fact of the matter is this, you have shown yourself to be the 'dip' by continueing to fight a pointless battle when you had lost with your first post.

I know why he put the playlist the way he did. Putting labels after your tracks is fine, but putting TP, PROMO, CDR is just stupid, especially when some of them are commmercially available.
Of course no one is going to agree with me - its tranceaddict, the home of the clueless wannabe.
Also, the fact that you bully people who hold the view that mark sherry is a joke is ing terrible. Why does he get special treatment? his mix shouldnt even be in here in the first place? Why isnt he classed as an amateur? Put all his self promotional crap in the amateur section and this problem goes away.
Saying mark sherry is the 'worst dj i have ever heard' is no less valid than the 14 year old clueless boy saying 'tiesto is the best dj i have ever heard'.
I dont see you banning any of the clueless tiesto fans... People can say what they like, and when you start chasing people away for saying mark sherry is a fool then you just come across as pathetic and lodged up his arse.

When a dj does a set for radio 1 or even tranceairwaves for an example, we require the label to be included for copy right purposes, so if it's a promo cdr or white label vinyl we require that information to be put on the tracklist.
Stations like Radio1 & tranceairwaves have to pay copyright fees.
So basicly the way Mark is tracklisting his set is the standard way of doing it and is not for showing off or trying to look cool.
Plus it also helps others who like the tracks in the set to be able to purchase them too, it's handy knowing the label, availability etc.
