As far as I can see, he consistently offered reasons to back up why he thought what he did - people like you just didnt 'agree' with them. |

From the outset this post is set to flame, it is condescending and inflamatory and what does the fact that mark sherry is from public domain have to do with his dj sets?
the reasons mark's set was tracklisted as it was were explained by myself and several other members.
which was totally not taken into account as this post shows

why is this stupid? again this has been explained and i see no valid reply from you to explain why it's so stupid, again like i said in a previous post, at the time of the mix being done, those tracks may not have been available

Stations like Radio1 & tranceairwaves have to pay copyright fees.
So basicly the way Mark is tracklisting his set is the standard way of doing it and is not for showing off or trying to look cool.
Plus it also helps others who like the tracks in the set to be able to purchase them too, it's handy knowing the label, availability etc.

I seem to remember him pointing out how the only reason people look twice at this guys playlists is because he uses the 'public domain' aspect of his production career to perpetuate his dj career. So it IS relevant to bring this into play. I also remember how he pointed out that this should be in the amateur section ... and how he said that most amateurs were better than him. Just that they havent made a rip off mash up of New Order & the bladerunner soundtrack to make their name.
Although this was missing from your totally un biased summing up. When is there going to be a proper explanation? |
