We could sit here and debate this all day. I just feel it is not what it use to be, and yes I listen to trance shows. Almost everyday, and I am not into whats hot right now. So i really dont care much for there name as much as I use to. I use to listen to new ASOT, and GDJB, and TATW and was able to ID a complete new show. Now I feel it is less entertaining. And not really impressed, so I just listen to it for the "F" of it. And yes there is some impressive shows, by locals, and big names, and breaking through artist as well. If theres is one thing I leaned is not to take things too seriously.
And maybe I was sunk a bit the miami sound, but to be honest it is not only miami look at whos holding residencies @ the most prestigious places around the world, what was once trance dominated at some point has been primarily replaced for the past couple of years, not completely but fot ther most part. To me people are now seeing it as electronic music. Not by genre, so many of the impressive djs are playing more complex sets. Minimal, progressive, trance, and house all in one show. And quite frankly I have no problem with that I listen to them all. :D
