i would like to talk about food. personally, i love eating and cooking and sharing recipes...
my absolute favorite meal that i could eat every day and not get sick of is pizza with salad (creamy italian dressing) and lots of marinara sauce for dipping the pizza in. i love marinara...
i also love cut up vine tomatoes w/ mozzerella cheese in some sort of balsamic vinegar dressing mix...it's a great healthy snack and quick to make. i could eat a whole bowl for dinner.
can't live without strawberries or rasberries either.
and DON'T lecture me about the contents of a hot dog either, because i love grilled hot dogs w/ mac salad and baked beans...
prime rib w/ aujus too...rare mmmmmmm
what does everyone like...and tell me about a typical dish from your country please:)
 |

OH u just reminded me of a killer recipe... i actually just winged it and tried my best to copy a sandwich i ate at this restaurant in Santa Barbara called Pascucci (if anyone ever goes there, EAT THERE)
anyway, it was a roasted garlic eggplant sandwich w/ sun dried tomatoes, gorgonzolla cheese (i used feta instead) and marinated artichoke hearts too...on toasted french bread or any bread you want...
so good. i haven't made it in a while, i think i'll make it this weekend... |

| i love eating but i'm too lazy to cook. I love pizza too and i am also addicted to all kinds of pickles.. it's true. |

| i like pickles too, but only with sandwiches... i like to take a bite of the pickle right after the sandwich so it's all in my mouth at the same time:D or i just get sandwich stacker pickles and put them ON the sandwich.... |

mmm.....food
I've been on a diet for the past year, so haven't had the chance to eat anything too good
But I used to eat perogies with meat and cherries *drools*
There are some other dishes that I used to eat while I was in my country, although not sure what they're called in English. They were mostly made out of potatoes and beef (example: you'd have a sphere shaped thing, the outside layer is made out of potatoes and on the inside you have meat, it looks like a small football LOL) |

what country? sounds greek or some sort of mediterranean food...that meat and cherries thing sounds awesome!!
i don't have much of a sweet tooth for desserts and such, so i prefer to have the sweet stuff with a main course...
i like sauces on meats and fish...there is this restaurant chain in south florida owned by Dan Marino called Dan Marino's Town Tavern..it's pretty decent and they have this nut crusted mahi mahi dinner w/ a vanilla rum butter sauce drizzled over it and steamed baby spinach leaves (one of my favorite veggies)....
the sweet sauch over the salty nuts on the fish go perfect together!
*edit* hahahaha i said salty nuts |
