Women tend to perceive s as confident, and confidence goes a long way. There's more to it than that, but that's a pretty good summary of why.

girls like going out with s but they don't usually marry them
(and those that do kinda deserve it :p)

i don't remember who posted it, but there was some poll on the internet and most women said they'd sleep with brad pitt but they wouldn't marry him - he's not the "family" type :)

... and then they grow up and realize what they should really be looking for in men.

But, as is the case in everything, some of them will never learn.

Go figure.

Here's something Ive heard a few females utter...

" the bad ones, marry the good ones."

As sad as it sounds, its seems kinda true.

women should look for one thing in a man. a man thatll wake up everyday and but his ass on the line o ring home food for his family, not for her. and she should contribute in any way possible

i agree with arbiter...they confuse with confident. we all want what we can't have, it's human nature. so with people who go for people who treat them like crap...it's because they are insecure and want to feel confident once they can get a guy or girl like that to settle down...but it'll never happen. lol

I was just trying to make a point that a lot of girls who say that cliché, hunky, guys don’t do it for them should have a better reason behind it, other than the fact that they are basically just assuming they have shallow personality because of the fact that they are so physically attractive. I think that’s lame, and it seems like they are stereotyping and critiquing them, maybe because they don’t feel worthy of them.

Different strokes for different folks. Looking at pretty boys doesn't excite me. I appreciate their appearances much as I would appreciate an attractive woman's appearance. That's it.

Basically, some people get turned on simply by physical appearances, and for others it takes much more than a sixpack to be attracted to a person. And I don't think it's a cliche at all to say that. There are girls who go for physical appearances and those who don't; the ones that drool over appearances are most usually the type of girls that around here wear Red Sox shirts and caps not because they're fans (as if any of them had a clue about baseball) but because it's popular to be a Red Sox fan (or a Johnny Damon fan)

As you said, we don't know whether these guys have decent personalities, so I say that drooling over a guy with a sixpack is not too special, because a sixpack is pretty much a sixpack and they all look kind of the same. Breasts too, I can drool over girls' breasts or asses but in the long run breasts are just breasts and the girl's personality is what counts most. Sure you can have fun with physical things but for me, at least, that's not enough for a relationship (and even for a one-night stand)

Im gonna start one too...

"Life starts with birth/conception (whichever you believe in) and ends with marriage."

In a society that demands you to be politically correct, I had to word it like that.
