Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It just seems like there’s a little bandwagon of chicks saying that hot guys don’t do it for them, just because they are physically awesome looking. Oh yea, that must automatically mean they are pricks.
Dating a gorgeous guy = stressful and possibly threatening because wherever you go, chicks will be checking him out and possibly coming on to him.
Dorky quiet guys= worship the ground you walk on.
that's what it boils down to really.
and I don’t date guys based solely on looks at all. that couldn’t be any farther from the truth. I like all kinds of guys, so there is no stereotyping with me. I could never really say, “oh that guy is my type”. because it’s who they are on the inside and how they carry themselves that gets my attention. but I sure wouldn’t pass up having some fun with a hot ass model, if his personality was decent. and i certainly wouldn't make the assumption that he's superficial until i've at least had a conversation with him.
tranceaholic: I see your point, but I think it’s a little different with females. usually the really air brushed, big fake titted, pound of make up chicks are the ones that I will critique. every time someone posts a pic of a female they think is hot, I don’t have that “oh she’s too hot, she must be a superficial bitch” attitude, and start ripping her apart. i think with guy model pics, it's more what you see is what you get. |

I agree, at least for the most part.
I want a girl to be attractive for me to have a beyond friendship relationship with her. It might sound lame, but I don't care how good a girls personality is if there isn't a physical attraction. Sure personality can stimulate more attraction, but only to a point. I want both. A girl doesn't have to be a supermodel, or any particular type, but I need to feel physically attracted to her. On the same token, a girl with looks and nothing behind it doesn't work either. The girl has to be decent looking and have a good personality. |

well if that doesn’t apply to you, then there’s no need to cop an attitude, I’m just going by the general consensus. that’s usually the case with decent to pretty girls dating dorky weirdos.
I’m with you erik..if a guy is decent looking, and he has a killer personality and makes me crack up and is good in bed, he automatically becomes a 10 to me. it’s like a switch that goes on inside me. I start to think they are hotter and hotter, the more I get to know them. |
