The most I've ever made on a pic was $1000 USD.
I got about $200 or so for that pic of the bridge.
Nope, that's not enough to pay the bills, but it's a little better than DJing lol.
I just do it because I love it.

It's alright if you live in naturally beautiful areas!
Bit harder if you live in the suburbs of the city! |

I do sorta find it hard to find unique locations to take pics of, but maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.
I have taken note of a couple locations, but I still haven't gotten up to doing anything about it yet. |

There's a park in my town that looks over a hill miles away - sunset absolutely kicks ass over there cuz it sets over the hill.
Used to play football every day in the summer as the sun set... guess I should take some pictures when the skies clear (like another 8 months :() |

i do it professionally when i get the chance, ive done photography for canada's gymnastics championships (y) and muskoka woods skateboarding series (hence the skateboarding pic).
usually i just shoot for school projects, i take graphic design, so photography helps me a LOT.
the cash is "Good" but in order to actually make money off it, i think the best way is to setup an exhibiton, frame all photographs at 8x10 or larger, and THEN sell for 50 bucks MINIMUM.
Question for Photographers
Suppose i setup an exhibition at a cafe/art gallery, and i printed my photographers (like the ones in the previous page of this thread), how much should i charge ppl?
Im not a "professional" (eventhough ive done professional photography) im still an amateur, and self taught. What would be a good price tag for 8x10, or larger? |

You can still find beauty and relevance in the city if you look.
It's just not as obvious, but it is all around you.
