| So I read like 7 pages, and I miss pics with a thought, it's only smth "beautiful" like, "OMG A SUNSET" "A LEAF" "AN ANIMAL" . They're good, colors are great, they're nice to watch, but they aren't meaningful, but that's just my humble opinion, anyhow this' a *bump*. |

How do you get a picture so that the object moving fast is really clear, and everything that is stationary / not moving is all blurry? I was fannying about with the shutter modes and portrait mode on my sisters camera and can't seem to get it right.
I ask because I took this picture of my cat jumping, and after seeing how it came out thought it'd be quite cool if it was as how I described above.
