That's a sweet lens.
I was shooting with my 24mm the other day and it just wasn't wide enough, so I was like, "Damn I wish I had that 16-35."
:D
Have you tried this one?

It seems more affordable.
The 100mm f/2.0 I have is great for available light/concert photos, so I would wholeheartedly recommend that one for club or concert photography if you need a medium telephoto. Of course on a 300D it would be a 160mm, so that might be too long. |

beautiful contrast in this one.... and nice composition as well. i really like it. i hate that sort of "framing" on most shots (ALL colour shots), but it works for this shot, and it makes your sig looks really good...

I just threw in the frames on all of them. All of the pictures have been compressed (heavily) from the original. But thanks for the comment. |

The 16-35 i have is rented. Something happened to it because the last few times i had it, it displayed some bad aberrations on the edges at 16mm... someone ed it up :(
I'll have to buy a lense for myself and stop renting them out, its crazy the money i spent on location. I don't know what to buy... and I'm unwiling to spend thousands for one lense.... dilemma.
And no I never had the 17-40, tried the 17-35 tho and it wasn't that good, to blurry at the edges. |
