...there's no way Kerry is going to win Florida now...the percentages for Kerry are going down in Broward and West Palm Beach. They needed to be at around 70% and 66% to give Kerry a fighing chance. Unless Miami-Dade goes into the mid-60s, there's no way he's winning this hick state...and this is without absentee ballots being counted :whip:

Damn, now he NEEDS to win both Ohio and Pennsylvnia, otherwise, it's all over.
KrinKer
Pensylvania is still strong for Kerry

Ohio is still pretty splited

But ...

If Bush wins tonight ... at least he's gonna win ... he's not gonna steal the election this time around !

Alright, so we're already starting to have voting problems. Seems we won't know what happens in Ohio and Florida officially until some legal wrinkles have been ironed out.

BBC article /Edited for article time - article was posted on BBC at 8:51 PM EST

quote:
In Ohio, many voters were queuing to cast their ballots when the polls officially closed at 0030 GMT.

Under state law, they are still entitled to vote and the Democratic Party says it has won a court ruling forcing election organisers in two counties to speed up the voting process by, for instance, issuing each person with a paper ballot rather than have them wait for a touch screen or punch card voting machine to become available.

An appeal, however, has been launched against that ruling by Republicans which means a result from this crucial battleground state is not expected for hours.

In Florida, nearly half the polling stations in Miami and surrounding areas are still open after the official closing time to try to allow queues of voters to cast their ballots.

A legal dispute is also emerging about the counting of absentee ballots in the state. Republicans are trying to delay the counting of as many as half a million such ballots until Thursday.

Correspondents say this would mean a long delay in the result from Florida.

Morsy,
Common man. Obviously Bronze is just saying that to rile you up. I don't even think he believes what he just said. Why give him the pleasure to see you pissed when that's exactly what he set out to do in the first place. Brush it off and be sarcastic right back at him, without necessarily displaying the reaction of anger that he so craves to see from you.
