Das is geld isses mir aber dann schon wert! Summiert sich ja auch... |

Spart doch Versandkosten.
Ich lass mir nich 5 Platten liefern...
England is mir eh zu teuer.
dancegrooves? web-records?, djshop ? only-djs? |

B1. The Scumfrog's Dubfriend
B2. Slacker's Hymn To Her
Another splendid Jukebox release from progressive legend (in his own lunchtime) Slacker, with the lead mix skirting the borders of progressive / electro and tech for an exhilarating angular ride complete with film samples and lots of Slacker energy. A stomping mix from Scumfrog, and a couple of nice downtempo' mixes complete a fulsome package.

Underwater back on it with a rolling, tough electro disco groover, acidy bass, tweaky arpeggios, all nice.

Really nice gear from PJ Davy here on EQ Grey LTD, a label that has been going from strength to strength. PJ is no stranger to the label, or its bigger sister, EQ Grey and here the lad turns in two cool techy house cuts with the A side taking the honours. Nice.

The cousins Dahlback return with another wholesome four track EP on their own, er, Dahlback label. Funky acid, tweaky tech, drums, basslines, grooves - notch another one up for the Swedes.

A1. Tim Wright Remix
A2. Vector Lovers Antimatter Remix
B. Abe Duque Remix
'Oxygen', Tim Wright's follow up to 'The Ride' (which featured the mind-blowing trip houser of a remix from Luciano), comes screaming out the traps with a growling, rolling bassline and Truesoul-esque techno synths and beats whilst Vector Lovers adds his remix which is a filthy, messed up electro stepper and certainly not what we'd expect from him, as good as it is. On the flip Abe Duque drops a tweaking acidic version to keep the floors rocking. Phat.

Believe, Getting Closer, Save Me
Additional Information: Will you believe in Believe? This very fine new Poker Flat release hides the answer under its belt. Upfront one more answer: ADJD stands for Alexi Delano and Jesper Dahlbäck, two very well known guys. Jesper had some terrific productions and remixes out in 2003 on a couple of great labels like his own DK and Svek, as well as on 20:20 Vision, Turbo, Output and nevertheless his wicked remix for the Detroit Grand Pubahs. On top, he just launched a new label, together with his cousin and Dessous artist John Dahlbäck, called Dahlbäck Records. Alexi Delano can be called some kind of long-term label-mate. He already had several releases on Raw Elements, Dessous and Poker Flat, next to his appearances on e.g. Tiga‘s Turbo Rec. and Plastic City. Both guys grew up in Stockholm, Delano moved to New York in the mid ‘90s. Now they present us their collaborative Stocktown Bizniz. On the A-side it‘s Believe drilling its outstanding cool groove inside your brain, garnished with delightful acid bleeps. The flip-side holds two more tracks, Getting Closer and Save Me, a few beats slower but not less hypnotizing. Exquisite stuff for early sunday morning clubbing. You will believe in Believe, believe us.

This is the first release on earthaudio from Amsterdam. Earth, the Dutch party organization that has given upfront parties for 5 years now, is now continuing the history with vinyl releases. The concept is straightforward: a great track from a young producer from the Netherlands on one side, and a remix of a Dutch dj-hero on the other side. These artists perform regularly on Earth and represent the Dutch dancefloors. Earth presents the finest Dutch talents, on vinyl. We are proud to present: earthaudio 001.http://www.earth-link.nl
